Veterans 9/11 Memorial Climb- Volunteer Registration

We are excited to return to the Red River Gorge for our annual 9/11 Memorial Climb for Veterans! Please read the information below carefully.

We will prioritize volunteers on this trip who are veterans with climbing experience (indoor or outdoor). 

Additional trip details:

• Rock climbing equipment is available to borrow (climbing helmet, harness, and climbing shoes)

• Lodging provided at the ADA accessible BedRock Lodge. Volunteers will be in a shared bunk room. If you would like private accommodations, there are many cabin rental options nearby. 

• All meals are provided

• The trail includes rugged terrain with hills, rocks, and roots. Volunteers must be able to hike 1 mile on uneven terrain while carrying a pack. 

• Volunteers with climbing experience, especially those who are belay certified at a rock climbing gym, will be prioritized. However, volunteers do NOT need extensive outdoor climbing experience. Rock climbing guides will lead the group up the routes and provide all necessary safety equipment and instruction.
