This ride is for Shepherd Center SHARE only.

Veterans Cycling Program (VetsCycle)

The VetsCycle Program is open to both adaptive and non-adaptive Veterans. Join us for a group ride, connect with fellow Veterans, and enjoy being part of a supportive, team-based community.

Participants will ride along the Silver Comet Trail in Mableton.

Equipment & Participation

This program is open to Veterans with visible or invisible disabilities, as well as non-adaptive Veterans.

If you do not own an adaptive bike, one is available for you to borrow for the duration of the program.

We are committed to removing barriers to participation, including assistance with bike transportation and storage. If you have questions or need support, please contact desiree@catalystsports.org.

Ride Day Schedule

• 8:15 am – Arrival for Veterans / Volunteers bringing their own bikes

• 8:30 am – Bike fittings for adaptive Veterans borrowing a Catalyst fleet bike

• 9:00 am – Group ride rollout (please be ready to ride)

Essential Eligibility for VetCycle Participants

Participants must:

• Be part of Shepherd SHARE Program

• Have a desire to support fellow riders

• Be willing to ride at a group pace and stay with the slowest rider

What to Bring

• Water bottle

• Snacks or food

• Medications

• Sunglasses or safety eyewear (if needed)

• Closed-toe shoes

• Your own bike (adaptive bikes are available to borrow if needed)

• A can-do attitude!
