Summary
Description
This is not just an adaptive cycling event; it's for everyone, including your friends and family. Wheelchairs are welcome. Hikers are welcome. Catalyst Sports will be up front and setting the pace for this parade, which (one way) is just under a mile.
There will be flat, paved, reserved parking under the viaduct (near Barley's) for wheelchair users. Our adaptive bikes will also be set-up here.
PARADE LINE UP is at NOON on Willow Ave. (next to the viaduct near Barley's). PARADE BEGINS at 1:00 p.m. If you are using an adaptive bike, you must arrive at our reserved parking at NOON.
We will have volunteers to push wheelchairs and adaptive bikes as needed. Athletes riding adaptive bikes or using wheelchairs will spend some time at the street party, and then we'll return to the reserved parking area as a group, with Big Ears volunteers escorting us. Volunteers will continue to assist.
This is an all ages event. There will be a large crowd watching in The Old City. The vibe is wonderful.
