9/11 Memorial Climb- Volunteer

Volunteer for the 2 night backcountry camping and outdoor rock climbing trip for veterans. This trip will require primitive camping, with no running water, electric hook-ups, or other amenities.

When:  September 6-8, 2024

Tentative Schedule:

- Friday September 6th: Arrive in the afternoon/evening, set up camp

- Saturday September 7th: Single pitch climbing (less than 50' tall)

- Sunday September 8th: Multi-pitch climb on Table Rock (appx. 300' tall)

Where: Linville Gorge Wilderness, North Carolina

Who: Volunteers who want to support this veterans trip- volunteers who are veterans or in the military themselves are encouraged to attend! Must have prior outdoor climbing experience and be able to walk 1 mile over rugged terrain.
