Description
Back for the 3rd year! We are excited to host another adaptive MTB race during the Ride Kanuga 2024 End of Summer Jam. We are striving to add more to the weekend each year. This year we are excited to have a welcome BBQ on Friday evening, & will be having an outdoor MTB/aMTB film night. See below for more details on the schedule. We hope to see you out there!

When completing the BikeReg "Race Registration: Step 2", you will see TWO adaptive registration options.

The "Adaptive" race, with three categories as shown below, is the Catalyst supported adaptive optimized race. This race is free to all adaptive riders. The race course will be selected with adaptive bikes in mind

Hand Cycle Category: All hand cycle adaptive bikes (analog & e-assist)

Full electric adaptive bikes should also register under this category

Recumbent category: All foot pedal recumbent adaptive bikes (analog & e-assist)

Upright category: All adaptive riders riding upright bicycles or tandems (analog & e-assist)

The "Enduro Race" Adaptive category

RideKanuga will be hosting an enduro race during the End of Summer Jam. The Adaptive category, in the Enduro Race, will race the same race course as all Enduro Racers. This race course is not selected based on trails that are optimized for adaptive bikes.

Catalyst WILL NOT be planning to provide support riders during the enduro race. Please reach out to Catalyst if you plan to register for the enduro & would like help recruiting support riders

We have a limited supply of accommodations booked at Kanuga Conference & Holiday Inn Hendersonville. These rooms can be booked directly through Catalyst on a first come first serve basis when registration goes live on July 1.

- "Private Room" indicates no one else will be booked into the same room. Some of these rooms have additional beds as indicated. Please consider inviting friends or family to share your room. Each room has a two person maximum. Additional people in room may trigger additional fee for breakfast.
- "Shared Volunteer Rooms" indicates the room has two twin beds. Please reach out to Kirby directly if you would like to be paired with a friend/family as a roommate

Lasher Rental:
Catalyst will have a limited number of Lasher handcycles available for rent. $150 all three days. Fitting will take place on Saturday, during race practice. These bikes will be stored for you in the Catalyst trailer & transported to the Monday group ride. We ask that these rentals be saved for those who do not have their own adaptive bikes & wish to join the race.
Note: This event weekend is focused on Advanced riders & downhill terrain. Adaptive Mountain Bike Experience is required
***Rental party will be responsible for any repairs that are required from race weekend activities***
