Note:  Due to Hurricane Helene reovery, this is a TENTATIVE ride registration.  This ride may be cancelled/ re-located depending on trail status

 

Join Catalyst Sports Asheville for an exhilarating Adaptive Mountain Bike (aMTB) Group Ride! Nestled in the picturesque mountains of Western North Carolina, Dupont State Forest offers a diverse network of trails suitable for riders of all levels. From flowy singletrack to challenging technical sections, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Please note that the ride is weather dependent. Additionally, the parking lot is gravel, & there is an accessible portable toilet on site. So, come prepared for a day of adventure and camaraderie as we explore the stunning trails and soak in the natural beauty of the area.

8:30 New Volunteer Training

9:30 Adaptive Athletes who are borrowing a Catalyst fleet bike

If you are bringing your own adaptive bike, please be ready to ride by 10:00

Update due to cold Weather: 

New Volunteer Training Cancelled. 

Please arrive at 9:30 to help unpack the trailer.  Fittings to begin at 10:00.  Ride will still aim to end at 12:00 noon

Things to Bring:

-  Water bottle (Catalyst will have a refilling station)

-  Snacks/Food

-  Safety/Sunglasses

-  Closed Toe Shoes

Volunteer Requirements:

-Volunteers must be age 12+ and have completed adaptive mountain bike training.

-Volunteers should bring own mountain bike. Anyone aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

-All volunteers should know & abide by the land management rules regarding use of electronic assist bikes

-New Volunteers:  Please complete the online New Volunteer Training & Sign up for our In Person New Volunteer Training offered before the ride
