GSMNP Hike April 5- Participant Registration

Registration for participants of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park adaptive hike on April 5, 2025. Please indicate whether or not you would like to reserve a GRIT Freedom Chair under ticket types when registering. 

*Note- there is NOT an accessible restroom at the trailhead. Please stop at the Tremont Institute on your way in to use the restroom. 

In order to maintain safety and provide a positive experience for all participants, we require hikers to meet the following Essential Eligibility Criteria:

• Breathe independently (i.e., not require medical devices to sustain breathing)
• Independently hold head upright without neck / head support
• Manage personal care independently or with assistance of a companion
• Manage personal mobility independently or with assistance of a companion
• Follow instructions and effectively communicate independently or with assistance of a companion
