Description

Join Knoxville Catalyst Sports for a deep dive into adaptive mountain bike training.  This will prepare you to be a support rider for our adaptive rides.  Training will include topics on Disability Etiquette, Bike Overview, Bike Fit, etc.  This will also give you time to ride the bike for a hands on understanding of how adaptive riders approach trail riding.

 

This is not a traditional Catalyst group ride.  All bike activity will be targeted for a learning environment.

Things to Bring:

- Your Own Bike

-  Water bottle (Catalyst will have a refilling station)

-  Snacks/Food

-  Safety/Sunglasses

-  Closed Toe Shoes

Volunteer Requirements:

-Volunteers must be age 12+ and have completed adaptive mountain bike training.

-Volunteers should bring own mountain bike. Anyone aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

-All volunteers should know & abide by the land management rules regarding use of electronic assist bikes
