Southeast Paraclimbing Competition & Training Camp- Climber

Thanks to the Dralla Foundation, we are able to offer a reduced registration rate of $30 for all climbers.

Competition Categories

Competition categories reflect the same categories that are offered at USA Paraclimbing Nationals, however there will not be a formal classification process. If you are unsure which category to enter, please email emily@catalystsports.org. This year's competition will offer men's, women's, and non-binary divisions for each category. If less than 3 climbers are registered for a category, they may be merged according to IFSC guidelines. 

Optional Finals Round

After the main competition there will be a finals round, which will be open to all competitors but is optional. The finals round will be onsight format and set up to recreate the environment at Paraclimbing Nationals Finals. There will be prizes! Please indicate if you think you would like to take part in the finals round. This is not a confirmed commitment and you may change your answer on competition day. 

Lodging at the Lakeshore Foundation

Lodging is available on a first come, first served basis at the Lakeshore Foundation (7 miles from High Point Climbing Gym.) Thanks to the Dralla Foundation, we are able to offer lodging at a reduced rate to climbers. Options include a limited number of private cabins and dorm rooms, in addition to shared cabins and dorm rooms (2 climbers per room). Prices range from $50- $200 for the weekend (check in Friday, check out Sunday). Everyone staying at the Lakeshore Foundation will also have full access to their facilities throughout the weekend, including their fully accessible fitness center and pool, as well as the opportunity to schedule a session at the Sports Science Performance Center. Please check the box indicating your interest in lodging at Lakeshore and we will follow up.

Paraclimbing Training Camp

New for 2025! We will offer a paraclimbing training camp on Sunday December 7th. Climbers will have the opportunity to train on the competition routes and work in small groups with USA Paraclimbing Coach Jess Malloy. There will also be a VI Clinic specifically for Blind or visually impaired climbers and their callers with Fernando Vasquez. This training camp is free to climbers, but spaces are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
