Join Catalyst Sports Asheville for an Adaptive Mountain Bike (aMTB) Volunteer Training with Lake James State Park and Northwest NC MTB Alliance.
Adaptive mountain biking has a lot of moving parts, and volunteers help make it all possible! During the in person training you will learn about disability etiquette, aMTB equipment, bike fitting, and how to be a Support Rider for an adaptive mountain bike rider. We cap it off with you getting to ride & experience the adaptive bikes yourself! All this is designed to prepare you to be comfortable and supportive on the trail with your future aMTB friends!
Please note that the ride is weather dependent.
Accessible bathroom onsite.
